Install the bot

Get VorteX running in your Discord server — from subscription to your first alert.

Get Your Activation Code

Go to your Vortex account dashboard on the web. Navigate to the Overview tab. Look for the "Connect the bot to your Discord server" section. Copy your unique claim code (e.g., Z5G-WT8-VPJ).

Run the Connect Command

Go to your Discord server where you invited the bot. Type the /connect command. Paste your activation code into the code field and press Enter. Example: /connect code: Z5G-WT8-VPJ

Begin Setup

The bot will reply with a confirmation message: "Subscription activated." It will list the available setup commands to configure your feeds (such as /setup-options, /setup-gap, and /setup-news).

Select Your Channels

Choose a feed to set up and type its command (e.g., /setup-options). Select the specific channel where you want the bot to post those alerts (e.g., ⁠whales-alert).

Confirmation

The bot will send a final success message confirming that the setup is complete! Example: "Options flow alerts will now be posted in ⁠whales-alert." Repeat Steps 4 and 5 for any other feeds you want to activate.
